Chefs Genius Trick for Effortlessly

Easy-Peel Hard-Boiled Eggs
Ingredients:
- Fresh eggs
- Cold water
- Ice
Instructions:
- Prep & Boil:
Place eggs in a single layer in a saucepan. Cover with cold water, about an inch above the eggs. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. - Cook:
Once boiling, cover the pot, turn off the heat, and let the eggs sit for 12 minutes (adjust slightly for egg size). - Cool:
Prepare a bowl of ice water. When time’s up, transfer eggs immediately into the ice bath and let them cool for at least 5 minutes. - Peel:
Gently tap eggs on a hard surface to crack the shell. Start peeling from the wider end, where there’s usually an air pocket. Rinse under cold water to remove any remaining shell pieces.
